A wireless PBX(Private Branch exchange) system and an originating method therein are provided to save mobile communication charges by connecting a call to the extension number of an extension subscriber, who exists within the coverage of a wireless private network, in case a user within the coverage of the wireless private network makes a call to the mobile phone of the extension subscriber. If a call-origination request is generated from a wire subscriber terminal connected to a wireless subscriber terminal or a PBX in a wireless private network(S510), the PBX confirms whether a destination number of the call-origination request is an extension number(S520). If the destination number is not an extension number, the PBX confirms whether the destination number is an extension subscriber's mobile phone number(S530). In case the destination number is an extension subscriber's mobile phone number, the PBX reads an extension number of the extension subscriber from a subscriber DB(S540). In case the extension subscriber is in the wireless private network(S550), the PBX makes a call connection to the extension subscriber's extension number through an associated access point(S580).
