<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing device of an electrocatalyst layer for a fuel cell which has at least the same level of ventilation in comparison with one by air-drying and which can be manufactured in a short time, and provide a manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: This manufacturing device is provided with an application means of applying a paste 10 containing at least a solvent and a binder to a base material containing a carbon fiber 12 and molded in a sheet state, and a heat generating means of generating heat in the carbon fiber. The heat generating means may be a direct heat generating means to generate heat in contact with the base material, and may be an indirect heat generating means to generate heat without contacting with the base material. The direct heat generating means is preferably provided with an energizing member to directly energize the carbon fiber of the base material, and the indirect heat generating means is preferably provided with an induction heating device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
