<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel oxide magnetic composition suitably applicable to a high frequency material and having improved high frequency characteristics, and to provide the high frequency material. <P>SOLUTION: In the oxide magnetic composition consisting essentially of oxide ferrite having a hexagonal crystal structure comprising a composition expressed by a general formula, (Sr<SB>1-X</SB>Ba<SB>X</SB>)<SB>2</SB>Co<SB>2</SB>Fe<SB>12</SB>O<SB>22</SB>, the oxide ferrite is replaced in 0<X≤1.
