<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biaxial hinge device which is controlled so as not to perform unnecessary relative rotation between hinge bodies, and allows the hinge bodies to vary a relative angle between the same to an extent that does not form a gap between the same. <P>SOLUTION: According to the structure of the biaxial hinge device, a fixed hinge body fixed to a fixed-side main body is pivoted on a connection hinge body by means of a first axial member, and a movable hinge body fixed to a door is pivoted on the connection hinge body by means of a second axial member. The movable hinge body and the connection hinge body each have a rotation limiting portion for limiting rotation of the other hinge body in a manner rotatable while maintaining an almost constant relative angle with respect to the fixed hinge body. The rotation limiting portions include first and second abutting portions formed on the movable hinge body, and first and second abutting portions formed on the connection hinge body, and contact of both the first abutting portions of the respective hinge bodies functions to inhibit rotation in one direction, while contact of the second abutting portions of the respective hinge bodies functions to inhibit rotation in the other direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
