<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for dehydration treatment of a raw material gas mainly composed of methane that enhances the treatment efficiency and at the same time reduces the treatment cost, in a pretreatment for the production of a gas hydrate. <P>SOLUTION: The method is effected in the pretreatment for the production of a gas hydrate, and comprises a process of removing acid gases from a raw material gas for a gas hydrate composed mainly of methane, a dehydration process of removing moisture from the raw material gas by repeating an adsorption process and a regeneration process using at least two adsorption towers, and a heavy component separation process of separating at least a part of≥2C hydrocarbon components from the raw material gas wherein the regeneration process comprises a step of extracting, as a regeneration gas, a part of the raw material gas which has gone through the heavy component separation process, a step of elevating the temperature of the regeneration gas and permitting the regeneration gas to pass through the adsorption tower to be regenerated to thereby desorb the adsorbed moisture and accompany the desorbed moisture with the regeneration gas, and a step of returning the regeneration gas accompanied with the moisture to the downstream side of the position at which a part of the raw material gas is extracted as a regeneration gas. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
