PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide resin particles which do not unite with each other after they are dispersed and have a sharp particle size distribution irrespective of the type and molecular weight of the resin. SOLUTION: The method for producing the resin particles comprises dispersing a disperse phase (DP) comprising a precursor (b0) or a solvent solution thereof in a continuous phase (CP) through a microchannel (M), to thereby form particles (B0) comprising the precursor (b0) or particles (B0') comprising the solvent solution, subjecting the particles (B0') to a polymerization reaction, and further removing the solvent in the case of the particles (B0'), to obtain a dispersion of resin particles (B) comprising the resin (b).
