<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of controlling various controlled apparatus, as required, through a remote control signal retransmitter in which all instruction codes concerning individual controlled apparatus are not required to be provided beforehand. <P>SOLUTION: In the remote control signal retransmitter, a control signal from an infrared remote controller for a controlled apparatus is received only the first time at an infrared light receiving section 181 (remote control signal receiving section 1701), the received signal is analyzed and the type, model number, and the like, of the controlled apparatus are judged (1702), information of an instruction code system is acquired from a world wide web page depending on the decision results (1703), that information is held (1704), and then a retransmission control signal is formed (1705) with reference to the information thus held depending on a control signal (1701) of received infrared light and projected to the controlled apparatus (1706, 183). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
