<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a food as a food raw material that sufficiently has a masking effect on bitterness or astringency of an extract of a plant body and a slight influence of the taste of a masking agent itself even in the case of containing a large amount of an extract of a plant body having bitterness or astringency. <P>SOLUTION: The food comprises an extract of pine bark, an extract of ginkgo leaf, essence of Japanese plum and ascorbic acid or its derivative. The food preferably further contains yeast. Since the food has slight bitterness or astringency and controls a sour taste, it is easily taken.
