<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing boiled fish by which fish is prevented from falling apart while steam-boiled, homogeneously boiled fish can be produced, and a large amount of boiled fish can be produced at a time. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing boiled fish comprises a steaming process where fish 2 is soaked in stock 3 in a top-open container 4 to steam the fish with saturated vapor, wherein the fish 2 is put directly in the container 4 to be charged with the stock 3.
