PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting diode device capable of improving an efficiency of retrieving white light.

SOLUTION: A lighting device comprises a light emitting diode chip 6 that emits blue light, a recess forming member 9 that forms a recess having a projection opening 8a that stores the light emitting diode chip, a circuit pattern 5 which is arranged in the recess and electrically connected to the light emitting diode chip, a yellow emission phosphor layer 12 that is excited by blue light for yellow fluorescence, and a long wavelength reflection layer 11 that reflects yellow light from the yellow emission phosphor layer while making blue light from the light emitting diode transmit.
