摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a burden for a driver required for travel, to make driving feeling for the driver comfortable, and to enhance energy efficiency for a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A target acceleration G* is set in response to a vehicular speed V to generate a slight acceleration in a low vehicular speed area, to travel at constant speed in a middle vehicular speed area, and to bring a deceleration in a high speed area (S490), when a prescribed time lapses after acceleration-off and braking-off (S460), and when an acceleration G of the vehicle comes to a determination value Gref or less corresponding to the vehicular speed V and a road face slope &theta; even before this (S480), and an engine or a motor is controlled to bring an acceleration G of the vehicle into the target acceleration G*. The burden for the driver required for the travel is thereby reduced, and the driving feeling for the driver is made comfortable.
