<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film for a soft capsule and the soft capsule scarcely causing pressure-sensitive adhesiveness on the surface as compared with conventional soft capsules under high-temperature/high humidity. <P>SOLUTION: The film for the soft capsule contains a protein of Pisum sativum L. Furthermore, the protein of the Pisum sativum L. is a protein contained in an amount of about 20% in grains of the Pisum sativum L. The protein of the Pisum sativum L. is obtained by washing, e.g. the grains of full-ripe yellow pea, drying the washed grains, removing hulls and then extracting the protein component mainly with water. The film for the soft capsule preferably contains the protein of the Pisum sativum L. in an amount of 7.5-20 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of gelatin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
