PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor structure for a dynamo-electric machine that can remove the magnetomotive force harmonics and where there is no increase in the iron loss, even at a weak field with a large current. SOLUTION: This rotor structure for a dynamo-electric machine, which has a stator and a rotor that is provided rotatably via a gap from the stator and is constituted by embedding a permanent magnet in the core, is constituted, by using the rotor which is equipped with a magnet structure having cuts being provided at both ends facing its periphery in its cross section and slits that are provided, in states such that they open to the side of an axis q, at positions corresponding to the cuts at both ends of the magnet structure.
