PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulator with excellent arc resistance, securing sufficient deterioration-preventing properties in both of the interior and exterior of the insulator while keeping the insulation properties, and prevented from color unevenness and local discoloration. SOLUTION: The insulator is obtained by filling 0.5-1 wt.% insulative pigment of other than black color, having heat resistance of not discoloring at baking of a fluororesin in the fluororesin having excellent heat resistance such as a polytetrafluoroethylene resin and a tetrafluoroethylene-perfluoroalkyl vinyl ether copolymer. A green color-based insulative pigment containing a TiO<SB>2</SB>-CoO-NiO-ZnO system or a ZnO-CoO system as an essential component, or a blue color-based insulative pigment containing a CoO-Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>system or a CoO-Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>-Cr<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>system as an essential component is singly or combinedly used as the insulative pigment of other than black color.
