[Class 46] A filter for liquids comprises an apertured support which is made in one piece and is provided with horizontal grooves receiving wires between which passage of the liquid takes place. In the construction shown, a support 6 rotatably mounted in a casing 1 is grooved to receive parallel horizontal wires 10 which are engaged by a grooved scraper device 11. The wires 10 are bent inwardly and are secured to the support 6 by means of a clamping strip 15 fixed by screws 14.
