A non-magnetized, highly corrosive-resistant, and lightweight linear guide device (40), wherein balls (42) forming the linear guide device (40) are formed of a superelastic material and a track rail (41) and a moving block (43) are formed of a nonmagnetic material such as a ceramics. The track rail (41) and the moving block (43) receiving rolling and sliding loads from the balls (42) can be formed of a material with a thin hard layer by forming the balls (42) of the superelastic material. Furthermore, since the track rail (41) and the moving block (43) can be machined with a rough machining accuracy by forming the balls (42) of the superelastic material, the manufacturing cost of the linear guide device (40) can be reduced. By realizing the linear guide device (40) having these working effects, the scope of application of the movement guide device can be increased. |
