The toolbox has a folding lid and hangs on a belt. It has an upper cover (11) and a lower bowl (21). The upper over has a flexible suspension (14) on the outside for hanging the toolbox on the belt so that the lower bowl can be brought into a perpendicular position, vertical relative to the belt, when the box has to be opened.
