<p>An electrosurgical pencil is provided having a light source for illuminating a tissue area of interest. In various embodiments, the light source is a fixed part of the electrosurgical pencil body or the cutting element. The light source may be electrically connected to the power source of the electrosurgical pencil or may have its own independent power source. The light source may also have its own switch or may be electrically coupled to the switch that operates the electromagnetic pencil.</p> |
