The mower has a longitudinal screw conveyor arranged in a tubular housing (11), wherein the tubular housing and the screw threads of the longitudinal screw conveyor are led up to the region of the outer circulatory path of at least one of the cutting blades. The tubular housing of the longitudinal screw conveyor, at the level of the at least one cutting blade in its region of movement, has at least one chute for direct depositing of the cut product into the longitudinal screw conveyor.
