A method for restoring a transportation error of an intra frame is provided to guarantee a real time quality of an image by requesting a retransportation in case of a transportation error. A method for restoring a transportation error of an intra frame includes the steps of: forming an RTP(Real-time Transport Protocol) packet including a predetermined length based I-frame(Intra frame)(S101); transporting the RTP packet(S103); and retransporting the RTP packet according to receiving a retransportation request for the RTP packet(S110).
