METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SENDING AND RECEIVING CALL UNREGISTERED USER IN A IP MULTIMEDIA SUBSYSTEM NETWORK

A method and an apparatus for sending and receiving a call in an IP(Internet Protocol) based multimedia subsystem network when losing subscriber's information are provided to obtain a continuous service in a case of a hardware error of an S-CSCF(Serving-Call Session Control Function) system by allowing an UE(User Equipment) to supply a sending and receiving service without an UE's re-registering process even in case of a dual down of a database. A method for sending and receiving a call in an IP(Internet Protocol) based multimedia subsystem network when losing subscriber's information includes the steps of: receiving an SAR(Server Assignment Request)(405) including a server assignment type and a common user ID of a receiving terminal for requesting subscriber profile information to an S-CSCF(470); recognizing a registered state of the common user ID when the server assignment type is set as a non-registered user; and, in case of the registered state, checking whether private user IDs related to the common user ID are registered or not and transmitting an SAA(Server Assignment Answer) message including a P-CSCF(Proxy-CSCF) name list about the registered private user IDs, information binding addresses of the users, and user's information to the S-CSCF.
