A street light having a rotational light device supporting body is provided to easily replace the light device and make the repair work safer on the sidewalk by placing the rotating unit rotating the light device supporting body. A street light having a rotational light device supporting body comprises a column vertically installed on the ground to have a cylindrical part; a light device supporting body installed with opposite contact parts(23) placed on the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical part; and a rotating unit rotating the light device supporting body. At least one hanging protrusion(16,17) is formed at the cylindrical part of the column, and the opposite contact parts are formed with grooves to insert the hanging protrusions. The rotating unit contains a pinion, a pinion gear(12) tooth-combined with the pinion, and a driving unit rotating the pinion gear.
