An air conditioner is provided to secure a proper supercooling degree corresponding to installation conditions of the indoor unit by measuring temperature of an inlet of an expansion apparatus and controlling the supercooling degree of the measured temperature. An air conditioner comprises an outdoor unit(10) having a compressor(11) and an outdoor heat exchanger(12) inside, more than two indoor units(30a,30b,30c) having expansion devices(32a,32b,32c) and indoor heat exchangers(31a,31b,31c) inside, a distributor(20) guiding refrigerant passing through the indoor unit to the outdoor unit, temperature measuring units(200a,200b,200c) mounted at the inlet of the expansion apparatus to measure temperature, and a supercooling apparatus for supercooling refrigerant passing through an heat exchanging process, guiding refrigerant to a distributor, and controlling the supercooling degree by temperature measured by the temperature measuring unit. The supercooling apparatus includes an auxiliary expansion apparatus. The temperature measuring unit is a thermistor.
