<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device and a control method of controlling display screen in the electronic device, that are advantageous to appropriately monitor the remaining capacity information of a battery by effectively using a display, and to improve its operation. <P>SOLUTION: The remaining capacity of the battery can be simply confirmed visually by the remaining battery capacity icon 48, when the content is reproduced or stopped.
