<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of supplying electric power to an electromagnetic induction heating means with output electric energy corresponding to variation in electric power supplied from a commercial power supply and corresponding to the type of a load power supply means provided in the image forming apparatus in the image forming apparatus having the electromagnetic induction heating means of heating a fixing means by electromagnetic induction heating from a heating power supply means. <P>SOLUTION: The output electric energy supplied from the heating power supply means (IH coil driving part 256) to the electromagnetic induction heating means (first heater 182 and second heater 183) is controlled according to an input voltage value from the commercial power supply (AC power supply 23) detected by a voltage detecting means and the type of the load power supply means (DC power supply 22) detected by a power supply type detecting means (power supply type detection part 224). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
