PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk loading apparatus in which a disk is centered surely and loading can be performed with simple constitution. SOLUTION: A guide rib 6c of a disk stopper 6 is engaged to a slit 4b of a chassis 4 and is slid, a notch 4ba is provided at an inside plane of the slit 4b, before the disk stopper 6 is moved to the prescribed position at which trigger of start of chucking is applied, the disk stopper 6 is stopped temporarily by that the guide rib 6c of the disk stopper 6 is locked temporarily at the notch part 4ba, centering of the disk 2 is completed during stopping.
