PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely accelerate an access to a file. SOLUTION: In the case of combining a medium A and a medium B and formatting the combined media as an integrated media, an integration device driver 401 acquires the recording capacity of the medium A and that of the medium B and prepares an MBR corresponding to the total number of sectors based on the recording capacity of both the media A, B on a position satisfying; LBA of comparatively high-speed readable/writable medium A = 0. In the case of formatting the medium A and the medium B as integrated media, the integration device driver 401 stores the LBA on a branch point in the integrated media and then reads out or writes data corresponding to the medium A or the medium B on the basis of the branch point.
