<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method by which high quality images are obtained even in long-term continuous copying or even under different environmental conditions. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming method comprises: at least a charging step of charging a latent image carrier; a latent image forming step of writing an electrostatic latent image on the latent image carrier; a developing step of developing the electrostatic latent image; a transfer step of transferring the developed developer image; and a fixing step of fixing the transferred developer image, wherein the developer contains at least a binder resin and a colorant and has an endothermic peak at 70-110°C in measurement by DSC, and a developer carrier comprises at least a substrate and a resin covering layer. The resin covering layer contains at least carbon black and a spacing of graphite (002) faces of the carbon black obtained by X-ray diffraction of the resin covering layer is 0.3370-0.3450 nm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
