<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to carry out signal transmission and electric power supply according to a standard by adding a contact to an electric connector of the signal transmission according to the standard. <P>SOLUTION: A receptacle 100 conforming to a B receptacle of a USB standard is provided with a non-elastic contact 130 for supplying the current at a side face orthogonal to a side face of which a contact 120 for a signal of a projection part 111 in an insulating housing is arranged. Corresponding to this, a plug 200 conforming to the B plug of the USB standard is provided with an elastic contact 230 for receiving the current at the inner side face of the insulating housing 210 constituting a fitting part. By means that a fitting key installed at two corner parts in the USB standard is decreased to one, it is prevented that the plug 200 providing the contact 230 for receiving the current is erroneously inserted into the normal B receptacle.
