PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a license management system for safely performing license authentication. SOLUTION: A license server 16 manages the number of contracted licenses and a license in use. When a job is charged from a user terminal 17 to a job execution apparatus 11 on the Internet 12, the license server 16 transfers a transfer license key to be used for the license authentication of the job execution apparatus 11 to a transfer license authentication server 13.
