PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection sensor capable of performing communication of setting information without any exclusive communication means, and a setting information acquisition method therefor. SOLUTION: A second output circuit 21 primarily owned by a pressure sensor 10 and an input circuit 22 commonly connected to an external connecting terminal 15d continued thereto are selectively enabled, whereby output of output signal Sc and receiving of set information data D are performed using the common external connecting terminal 15d.
