PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet recording device capable of achieving smooth ink supply to a recording head even when a high-viscosity ink is used, and also, capable of removing air in an ink supply path by suction. SOLUTION: The ink-jet recording device comprises an ink tank for reservoiring the ink, the recording head for discharging the ink onto a recording medium, a damper provided to an ink flow path from the ink tank to the recording head, a first ink supply pipe being an ink flow path from the ink tank to the damper, a second ink supply pipe being an ink flow path from the damper to the recording head and having an inner diameter larger than that of the first ink supply pipe, and a liquid-feeding pump provided to the first ink supply pipe.
