PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge device and a direct current power source system, for preventing malfunction of a series regulator. SOLUTION: A discharge circuit DC has a voltage comparison circuit of an output power voltage and an input power voltage of the series regulator SR. The voltage comparison circuit includes transistors Tr1, Tr2. A collector terminal of the transistor Tr2 is connected to a drain terminal of a transistor Tr4 and a gate terminal of a transistor Tr10. A drain terminal of the transistor Tr10 is connected to an output terminal of the series regulator SR, and a source terminal is grounded. The discharge circuit DC also has transistors Tr3, Tr4 operating when an input power voltage V1 is not less than a start-up start voltage. The drain terminal of the transistor Tr4 is grounded through a resistor R4, and a voltage thereof is supplied to the gate terminal of the transistor 10. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
