PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide biodegradable resin foamable particles capable of being stably produced and excellent in foaming characteristics and resistance to hydrolysis. SOLUTION: The biodegradable resin foamable particles contain 0.01-10 pts.wt. of a modifying agent and 0.001-10 pts.wt. of a nucleating agent based on 100 pts.wt. of a biodegradable resin having dicarboxylic acid units and diol units as structural units. In the biodegradable resin foamable particles, the nucleating agent comprises talc having an average particle diameter of 0.1-50μm and the modifying agent comprises at least one kind selected from a group consisting of a polyfunctional or monofunctional carbodiimide compound, isocyanate compound, epoxide compound, and oxazoline compound.
