A subscriber information searching method of an exchange and a device thereof are provided to be capable of searching subscriber information within a minimum time as minimizing a system load, when information on LNP(Local Number Portability) service subscribers stored in DBs of plural ASPs(Access Switching Processors) without a rule is searched. A subscriber searcher of each ASP sets LNP_DN(Directory Number) information to be searched in each DB unit(S10). Each subscriber searcher counts the number of LNP_DNs set in a DB unit of the Nth ASP(S20), and confirms whether the LNP_DNs to be searched are counted(S30). If tuples matched with the set LNP_DN information exist, each subscriber searcher performs a loop until the same number of tuples as the counted number of the LNP_DNs set in the DB unit of the corresponding ASP is searched(S40). Each subscriber searcher outputs subscriber-related information stored in the corresponding tuples, through an output unit(S50).
