A set top box accessing DCU through a jig is provided to connect with the DCU through the jig which can access the DCU without a JTAG(Joint Test Action Group) port, thereby preventing hacking, enabling efficient debugging when a problem occurs, and easily updating a program. A set top box comprises the followings: a main board(200) which has a control unit(210) and a memory(220); and a jig point which is installed in the main board(200) and provides an electrical connecting path of a jig(300) connected to a DCU(Diagnostic Controller Unit)(10) to either the control unit(210) or the memory(220), and the external DCU(10). The jig point is installed in the opposite side of a side of the main board(200) where the control unit(210) and the memory(220) are installed. The jig point comes into contact with a jig pin to provide the electrical connecting path.
