An antenna device and a sliding type mobile terminal having the same are provided to enhance productivity and to reduce production because additional parts for automatically drawing in or out an antenna are not needed. A sliding type mobile terminal comprises a main body, an antenna(310), and a slide(200). The antenna(310) is installed at the main body such that the antenna(310) can rotate. The slide(200) is installed at the main body such that the slide(200) can slide with regard to the main body, and includes a guide recess on a back surface into which a part of the antenna(310) is inserted. The antenna(310) includes a protrusion, which is inserted into the guide recess of the slide(200).
