<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generating system capable of stably outputting intended electric energy by supplying reformed gas of which density of carbon monoxide generated together with hydrogen is restrained below a prescribed value to a power generating cell part in a process of reforming fuel for power generation and generating reformed gas containing hydrogen, and to provide a control method of the same. <P>SOLUTION: The power generating system has a hydrogen generating part composed of a fuel reformer 120 generating reformed gas containing hydrogen from power generating fuel gas obtained by evaporating power generation fuel and water, two sets of CO removing devices 130A, 130B removing carbon monoxide contained in the reformed gas, a switching valve CV1 for selectively supplying the reformed gas either to the CO removing device 130A or 130B, a switching valve CV2 for supplying hydrogen gas exhausted either from the CO-removing device 130A or 130B to a hydrogen drive load, and a CO-densitometer DSM detecting the density of carbon monoxide contained in hydrogen gas to be supplied to a hydrogen drive load. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
