<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a demand control unit and a method which is used to predict electric energy to be consumed, capable of taking a driving state of a show case and a state inside the show case into consideration in accordance with a predicted value of consuming electric energy which has high accuracy for the whole load machine, and controlling the device so as not to exceed the contracted power by shortening time for pull-down driving. <P>SOLUTION: A refrigerating machine during working with a small temperature deviation between preset inside temperature and the current inside temperature is selected and the preset temperature of the whole show case connected with a refrigerating circuit in which the refrigerating machine is connected is set again at a temperature relatively high relative to the prescribed value to avoid a problem that the quality is degraded due to melting of food inside the show case, thus shortening the pull-down operation time and reducing power consumption in the refrigerating machine. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
