<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording apparatus such as a hard disk recorder capable of recording a program to be recorded without intermission in the case of reservation of recording of a program that is broadcast after another program such as a baseball game or a soccer game whose broadcast time is possibly extended and capable of enhancing the workability at reproduction and at edition of a recorded program. <P>SOLUTION: The recording apparatus 1 decides the presence of an extensible program whose broadcast time is possibly extended in programs that is broadcast before a reserved program on the same channel as that of the reserved program associated with recording reservation on the basis of an electronic program guide, extends a recording end time of the reserved program by a preset prescribed extension time when the decision indicates the presence of the extensible program, inserts delimiter information denoting a temporal delimiter position to the reserved program recorded by extension, and records the resulting reserved program. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
