<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus wherein irregularities in a transfer image are suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes an upstream side tractor and a downstream side tractor separately having a circulation belt having pins arranged at the same pitch as that of the holes of a continuous paper so as to be fitted to the holes of the continuous paper, and arranged on the upstream side and the downstream side, respectively, across the image forming part on the carrying path, for driving the continuous paper while fitting the pins to the holes. At least one of the upstream side and downstream side tractors has two circulation belts arranged in series along the carrying path, and among the pins provided on the two circulation belts, a distance between the pins located at the shortest distance across the two circulation belts is set as a distance avoiding the integral multiple of the pitch during the carriage of the continuous paper. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
