<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse rate measuring apparatus and pulse rate measuring method which can calculate the pulse rate accurately removing noise from the pulse data by using a filter bank even when a noise is mixed in the pulse and alarm a pulse synchronous sound in real time. <P>SOLUTION: The pulse rate measuring apparatus is provided with: multiple band pulse filters 6 with different center frequencies, in which a pulse signal 2 detected from the body tissue is input; FFT processing part 4 to calculate the fundamental frequency of the pulse signal 2; a pulse detector to calculate the pulse rate with the output signal of the band pulse filter selected from the outputs of the multiple band pulse filters which has the center frequency similar to the fundamental frequency of the pulse signal 2 calculated by the FFT processing part 4; PR calculator; and the synchronous sound generating member 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
