PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection state monitoring device which can detect connection state without increasing the number of connectors, signal lines, and input/output signals. SOLUTION: When a harness 16A is separated from a connector 24A or 24B, its connection with a power supply 38A is broken to become ground potential and a fault of the connection of the harness 16A can be determined by level detection of an input terminal 134A. When a harness 16B is separated from a connector 24C or 24D, its connection with the ground is broken to become VB=VCC and a fault of the connection of the harness 16B can be determined by level detection of an input terminal 234B. When a harness 16C is separated from a connector 24E or 24F, its connection with the power supply 38 is broken to become ground potential and a fault of the connection of the harness 16C can be determined by level detection of an input terminal 46.
