PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus capable of continuously transmitting a plurality of frames in a specification for controlling transmission of data for the unit of a frame. SOLUTION: Between a memory 102 and a MAC layer module 101, data are exchanged via a double buffer 104 and a MAC layer control section 101a manages a state relating to frame exchange via the double buffer 104 respectively individually at a sender side and a recipient side. Thus, the MAC layer control section 101a starts writing data of the next frame into the double buffer 104 by a DMA controller 103 without waiting the completion of data read from the double buffer 104 by a data processing section 101b, namely, can continuously transfer a plurality of frames.
