PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera having a bending optical system used to bend the optical path of incident field light, the camera being designed such that miniaturization is achieved by efficiently disposing its components. SOLUTION: The camera 100 for imaging incident field light has the bending optical system, which includes reflecting faces 202a and 302a inclined to the optical axis of the incident field light and bends the optical path of the incident field light by the reflecting faces 202a and 302a. In a space 1000 formed behind the reflecting faces 202a and 302a of the bending optical system, approximately pillar-shaped components such as a main capacitor 400 for a strobe, are disposed near the reflecting faces 202a and 302a.
