PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support detail design of functional and non-functional features by associating the functional and non-functional features. SOLUTION: An apparatus for supporting software design is composed of a functional feature table 1 which is hierarchized to store definition of functional features, a non-functional feature table 2 which is hierarchized to store definition of non-functional features, a relation table 3 which stores definition of relations between functional and non-functional features, a navigation table 4 which stores navigation information, a feature setting/check processing part 5 which sets functional and non-functional features, and performs their relation setting and logic check, a relation setting/check processing part 6 which sets relations between functional and non-functional features, and performs setting of attribute data and logic check, a navigation setting processing part 7 which sets information into a navigation table 4, and a mapping information display processing part 8 which displays relations between functional and non-functional features so as to be processed.
