PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage remover simplifying the structure of a garbage removing facility by dispensing with the facility of a screen provided in a waterway. SOLUTION: The garbage remover comprises a driving sprocket 11 disposed on the waterway 1; a driven sprocket 12 disposed in the waterway 1; an endless belt screen 13 formed by winding a plurality of endless ropes 14 arranged at spaces in a width direction, between the driving and driven sprockets 11, 12 and connecting the plurality of endless ropes 14 laterally by lateral rods 15 serving as connecting members; and a driving motor 20 rotationally driving the endless belt screen 13 between the driving and driven sprockets 11, 12. When the endless belt screen 13 is rotationally driven by the driving motor 20 to lift the front face side of the endless belt screen 13, garbage caught by the front face of the belt screen 13 rises together with the belt screen 13 and is dropped and accumulated when the belt screen 13 is reversed at the upper part.
