PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ply for a tire capable of improving the uniformity of the tire, particularly RFV by eliminating an adverse effect due to a ply joint part, and the tire using it. SOLUTION: The ply for the tire is made of rubber-coated ply cords and used as a structural member of the tire. The number of rubber gauge or ply cord varies along the longitudinal direction. The variation places are preferably provided at 5 to 50 places in the longitudinal direction. The tire is manufactured by using this ply for the tire. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
