PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording head which does not need a flexible cable and shortens a manufacturing process. SOLUTION: The recording head has a substrate 1, a heating resistive element 3a formed on the substrate 1, a plurality of first wires, and second wires. One end of the first wires is electrically connected to the heating resistive element 3a, and the other end thereof is positioned on one principal surface of the substrate 1. One end of the second wires is electrically connected to the heating resistive element 3a so that the heating resistive element 3a positioned at one end of the first wires forms a heating element 3, and the other end of the second wires is extended to the principal surface of the substrate 1 via the other principal surface of the substrate 1.
