PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide, in manufacturing a woody board prepared by gluing a decorative veneer to a parallel plywood made by laminating a plurality of veneers, a method which can be suitably used for easily manufacturing a flat woody board. SOLUTION: The method comprises forming a parallel plywood 2 in the state warped convexly by laminating in such a manner that a balance of thickness between a top side and a bottom side veneer 1 is broken, the parallel plywood 2 being made by laminating a plurality of veneers 1 and a direction of fibers of a superficial veneer 1a of the parallel plywood 2 being parallel to the longitudinal direction of the veneer 1, and thereafter gluing a cloth veneer 3 having a direction of fibers orthogonal to the direction of the fibers of the superficial veneer 1a of the parallel plywood 2 to a top side of the convexly warped parallel plywood 2 wherein the convexly warped parallel plywood is formed by forming the bottom side veneer 1 thinner than the top side veneer 1, a cloth veneer 3 having a higher water content than that of the parallel plywood 2 is glued on its top side, and thereafter the decorative veneer 4 is glued on the cloth veneer 3.
